Chris represents the interests of Husch Blackwell Strategies clients in both the Legislative and Executive Branches of Missouri government. Chris has spent over sixteen years working in public policy and government relations. His attention to detail and ability to understand and focus on clients’ priorities make him an integral part of the Husch Blackwell Strategies team.
Chris’s extensive government relations background includes advocating for clients in the Missouri Legislature for sixteen years and in Nebraska and South Dakota for two years. He has experience representing a broad range of clients on a variety of issues, including: Healthcare, Local Government Ordinances, Transportation, Telecommunications, Government Contracting, Appropriations, Retirement, Professional Registration, and Finance.
Chris was part of the founding team of Statehouse Strategies LLC in January 2016. The firm represented over forty clients in Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota.
Prior to Statehouse Strategies, Chris was a government relations consultant in the public policy and lobbying practice at the law firm of Schreimann, Rackers, Francka & Blunt LLC. Previously, Chris worked with former State Budget Director James R. Moody for fifteen years at James R. Moody and Associates, a Missouri-based governmental consulting and relations firm with a focus on appropriations and state contracts.
Chris received a Bachelor of Science Degree in English from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri.
